Small-animal veterinary practice established in 2010, treating pets including dogs, cats and small mammals (rabbits, ferrets, and small rodents). The clinic lists in-house diagnostics (laboratory testing plus ultrasound and X‑ray) alongside routine care and surgery, and is an RCVS General Practice. Emergency support is described as available during normal opening hours, with out-of-hours emergencies handled by MiNightVet Trowbridge.
From the latest written reviews available to us, owners give concrete positives like straightforward advice from a vet named Clara, support for nervous dogs, and a puppy class/“puppy parties”. A minority of reviewers raise specific concerns about unexpected or high costs (including sedation/sample work for an eye condition) and unclear explanations about what an appointment would involve.

I wanted to get a second opinion for my cat's eye condition. On the first appointment the vet couldnt get the cat out of the crate (was never a problem with previous vet) and said the cat would need to be sedated to take a sample (no surgery) and it would cost between £330 and £380. Took her to the 2nd appointment to take the sample in the London road clinic and was told my cat would need to stay there all day; I would understand that of it was a surgery BUT not a sample but I guess they need to justify charging this kind of money. No one explained to me in the first appointment that it takes a day for them to take sample; also worth noting that previous vet had no problem taking bloods or eye discharge samples.

Such lovely welcoming and warm staff! Fantastic vets, so lovely with the dogs. My puppy is always excited to visit the vets! Their puppy class pre-lockdown was also wonderful. :)

The vet was receptionist were extremely kind and helpful. As a first time dog owner, I really appreciated their support and advice. They were very welcoming and encouraged my nervous dog and I to come in whenever we walk past the vet. Highly recommended! Thank you so much!

Can't recommend the Widcombe branch enough. Had a poorly cat who had been retching badly for over 24 hours. The care and attention is fantastic. From the kind manner of the receptionist to the honest straightforward advice from Clara the vet.
